Our next Sonic R Show event will be Thursday, July 12th at 7 PM PDT (10 PM EDT, 3 AM UK), where we will be airing the Crush 40 concert from Sonic Boom 2011.
We’re gonna be having a party, and I believe a certain DJ will be lurking about the studio!

Announcing the Sonic R Challenge!

Hey remixers! We got a new event for you guys! Sonic Radio is announcing a new monthly event: The Sonic R Challenge!
The Sonic R Challenge is an event where we invite Sonic remixers to remix a Sonic song, based on what the challenge’s theme is.
Songs will be judged by us and given points based on creativity, talent, and use of instruments. Remixers can try for bonus points by remixing the song based on the “Bonus Category”, which could be a theme, genre, or use of particular instruments.
While the challenge will be ‘just for fun’, we do have plans to offer prizes in the future for winners. But for now, everyone wins, as we will be airing everyone’s entries on the Sonic R Show. We will also make entries available for download on our website.
The first challenge will be issued during the Sonic R Show’s Sonic Boom broadcast between 4-5 PM on Sonic R TV, with SPECIAL GUEST DJ EAR, so be sure to tune in!
