Sonic Radio Broadcast Equipment

So an update on our equipment here at the studio:
Earlier this week we made a post about our Sonic Radio Station, and since then we have had some terrible problems with it. Let me explain in great detail for you.
What we wanted to do was make a smooth transition from Live365 to our own locally broadcast server, and that went extremely well with the help of Gavvie and foreversonic of RadioSEGA. If it wasn’t for them we would’ve never been able to get our equipment finally working the way we have always wanted it to.
Here’s the problem… the server crashed. Apparently in the upbringing of the station we ran into major server driver error. That error caused a few files to become corrupt, thus shutting the whole thing down in a heartbeat. After hours of scrounging around for books, websites, and making sure the information that we had in leading to a possible solution was correct we moved forward to fix the problem.
Let’s just say we won’t have that problem at all anymore, and if the server ever gets to a point of which we have to start all over from scratch then we’ll know exactly what to do to get back around it.
After everything had been smoothed out we had a RadioSEGA forum member and listener, TheChaosBlue, help us out. He managed to confirm that the music and voiceover quality were spot on for what we wanted.
Now it’s on to the next step of the project… the show!
Catch you all on the 23rd!!!!
